To be a place of refuge for the lost, broken, confused, passing through but don't know what to do, the saint and the aints.

The Healing Place is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization that provides social services and outreach programs that are designed to meet physical, spiritual, and long-term needs. Our vision is to be a part of the collaborative effort to impact issues that plague our community as a whole.

The vision was birthed out of the 2007 crusade in Jackson divinely inspired by God, spear headed by Pastor Putalamus White and collaborated with many ministries, businesses and individuals in and around Jackson. With the focus on doing ministry 24 hours for 3 days this crusade did more than bring hope to a hopeless community but also began a beautiful building of the body of Christ in the sense of collaboration, across the board. Understanding that we first have to address the physical needs and allow God to open the doors of opportunity for feeding the Spiritual needs, The Healing Place is becoming that place where the lost will come to know the trueness of Christ and become disciples of Christ that take upon themselves the mandate of Mark 16:15-16.

THE MISSION

The Healing Place works to partner with people all around to reach the lost and help meet the community's most basic and greatest needs.

The Healing Place’s outreaches provide food, clothing, housing, education,job training and so much more to individuals. Networking with corporations, non-profit organizations, foundations and individuals allows us to reach the lost and help meet their most basic needs. Our staff implements programs that meet the needs, help the hurts, and effectively resolve problems by developing new and creative methods to communicate a positive message to those who would otherwise not hear it.

Made up of many races, nationalities, and cultures, The Healing Place has an open door policy, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365/66 days a year.
